Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) joined government agencies during the commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Philippine Independence and Nationhood on June 12 at the Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park, Manila.

ILS capacitates employees on ORAOHRA; CSC awards CNA to ILS-EA, Management

Manila – True to its commitment to equip employees with the knowledge of government processes, the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) engaged with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in a technical learning session on the 2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resources Actions (ORAOHRA), from June 20 to 21 at the ILS Office, Intramuros, Manila.

ILS participates in DOLE-NTIPC meeting on LEP 2023-2028 regional outputs

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) OIC-Executive Director Jeanette T. Damo joined the directors of the bureaus and attached agencies of the Department of Labor and Employment  during the National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (NTIPC) meeting at Luxent Hotel, Timog Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City on 19 May 2023.

ILS employees take oath of office before DOLE Undersecretary Bitonio

Manila – Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Undersecretary for Labor Relations, Policy and International Affairs Cluster Atty. Benedicto Ernesto R. Bitonio Jr. presided over the oath-taking ceremony of newly appointed employees of the Institute for Labor Studies held at the DOLE Central Office.

ILS’ first cashier employee takes oath of office; 3 employees promoted

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies OIC-Executive Director Jeanette T. Damo presided over the oathtaking of the Institute’s very first cashier employee Mr. Junell S. Recacho held last 17 April. The ceremony was also witnessed by Deputy Executive Director and all ILS employees who warmly welcomed Recacho and the newly-created position as approved by the Department of Budget and Management.
