Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies hosted the Commission on Audit (COA) for its annual entrance conference for the fiscal year 2023 on July 26, 2023, at the ILS Office, Intramuros, Manila. State auditors headed by Jemalyn V. Bautista, OIC-Supervising Auditor with Marlon R. Raneses, OIC-Audit Team Leader, and audit team members Dhayana Marie M. Bustillo and Laarny T. Arroyo, represented COA during the meeting with ILS management.

Climate Change Commission’s recognition highlights ILS 36th anniversary celebration

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) 36th year anniversary celebration was marked with recognitions from various organizations.

In time for the celebration, the Climate Change Commission (CCC) acknowledged the Institute’s invaluable contribution to the success of the Philippine delegation during the 58th Session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Subsidiary Bodies in Bonn, Germany, held from June 5 to 15, 2023. ILS provided inputs and recommendations related to advancing decent work in climate action, further contributing to a greener economy and a more equitable future.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) organized a technical learning session on the formulation of its Gender and Development (GAD) Agenda pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 2018-04 issued by the Philippine Commission on Women on June 27, at the ILS Office, Intramuros, Manila.

Manila – With its thrust of fostering effective and compliant management of its public records, the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) engaged the technical expertise of National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) to craft the Institute’s Records Disposition Schedule (RDS) on June 29 at the ILS Office, Intramuros, Manila.

ILS concludes 2023 Internal Audit

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) completed its 2023 Internal Quality Audit (IQA) with a closing meeting of ILS management, its employees, and the owners of the 17 registered process areas conducted on June 2.
