DOLE rolls out human resource development plan for green jobs 

08 July 2025, Marco Polo Hotel Ortigas Manila – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) formally launched the National Green Jobs Human Resource Development (HRD) Plan 2020–2030 on July 8, 2025, at the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. The Plan, which is mandated by Republic Act No. 10771 or the Philippine Green Jobs Act of 2016, outlines a strategic vision for preparing the Filipino workforce for the green economy and ensuring a just transition toward sustainable development.

ILS Concludes Data Gathering for “Workers’ Perspectives” Study in CALABARZON

CALAMBA CITY — The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) research team successfully concluded its regional fieldwork for its study titled, “Workers’ Perspectives on Company Practices in Labor Standards Compliance and Labor-Management Relations.” The final leg of data gathering took place at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office IV-A in Calamba City, Laguna, from 23 to 25 June 2025.
