Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies Executive Director Ahmma Charisma Lobrin-Satumba was the resource person during the sixth session of the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) SOCCSKSARGEN-wide webinar titled “LMC: Fourth Industrial Revolution (FIRe) in the Time of COVID-19 (FIRe vis-à-vis C-19)” held last 21 October 2021, 8 AM – 12 NN via Zoom.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) Senior Labor and Employment Officer Raymond R. Estrella from the Labor and Social Relations Research Division, participated in two international conferences this October where he presented his completed thesis for his Master of Public Management degree.

Institute for Labor Studies researchers Carl Sean E. Pablico and John Emmanuel B. Villanueva, both from the Employment Research Division (ERD), presented their studies during the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Region 1 event, and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Region 7 Regional PESO Congress, on 28 October 2021 via Zoom.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies conducted its Mid-Year Planning and Assessment Exercise last October 22, via Zoom. The activity was organized by the Institute’s Planning Committee and was hosted by Planning Officer Levie F. Mariano Jr. and Management Audit Analyst Isabel G. Mediavillo.

The event, which was hosted by Project Oragon and organized in cooperation with Pamurayan Integrated School, was conducted via Google Meet last October 2.

Manila – The Socioeconomic Research Portal for the Philippines (SERP-P), the country’s first electronic repository of policy research, placed the spotlight on the Institute’s report titled “Revive and Thrive: Actions for Decent Work Amid and Beyond the COVID-19 Pandemic,” as its featured publication for the month of September.

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies’ Senior Labor and Employment Officer Frances Camille G. Dumalaog earned her degree in Masters in Public Policy at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo, Japan. The graduation ceremony was held last September 15.
