ILS joins BWC, ILO in Regional Tripartite Validations for Gap Analysis of ILO C188

The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) joined the Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the International Labor Organization (ILO) in the conduct of the Regional Tripartite Validation of the Gap Analysis relative to the International Labour Organization (ILO) Work in Fishing Convention 2007, No. 188 (C188) in the cities of Zamboanga and General Santos, in two regions with established Industry Tripartite Councils (ITC), on May 28 and 30, 2024.

ILS attains 100% Transparency Seal Compliance Q1 2024

Manila – The Institute for Labor Studies remains among the attached agencies of the Department of Labor and Employment, which received a 100% Transparency Seal compliance status in the Q1 2024. As part of the ongoing enhancement and enforcement of accountability and delivery of quality services, all government agencies are required to comply with Transparency Seal per DOLE AO 357 Series of 2023 and GAA Fund Compliance 2024.
